Black Flash is a critical hit phenomenon that distorts space and amplifies cursed energy impact. In Sorcerer Ascent, it acts as a massive damage multiplier that can turn the tide of any battle.

The Math of Pain

Upon triggering a Black Flash, your attack (M1 or Ability) deals 2.5 times its normal damage.

Example:
Normal Punch: 100 Dmg
Black Flash: 250 Dmg

Precision Timing

Black Flash occurs when cursed energy is applied within 0.000001 seconds of a physical hit (lore-wise). In-game, it is a random chance based on your stats.

Base Chance: Very low (< 1%) for normal players.
Proc Visual: Screen darkens + Red/Black lightning effect.
Stacking: Succesive Black Flashes increase your "Zone" potential.

🩸 The Chosen Lineage: Itadori Clan

The Itadori Clan is uniquely blessed by the sparks of black. While other clans rely on RNG, Itadori users can guarantee a Black Flash.

Special Ability: "Divergent Fist" Mode

Clan members possess a unique passive that increases Black Flash rates. More importantly, they unlock a Special Black Flash move.

Damage: Massive burst (scales with Strength)
Effect: Guard breaks + Knockback
Note: Does not count towards the "Zone" buff timer.

🧠 Strategic Implementation

1. The "Zone" State

Landing a Black Flash puts you in "The Zone". While in this state, your Cursed Energy output is increased to 120%, and your reaction times are sharpened.

2. Combo Integration

Don't fish for Black Flashes. Treat them as happy accidents. However, if you are Itadori Clan, use your Special Black Flash as a combo finisher to maximize the 2.5x multiplier on your strongest hit.

3. PvP Application

Black Flash is the great equalizer. A timely Black Flash can break a Domain Expansion clash or turn a losing 1v1 into a victory.
